Occupational Health & Safety Program

Purpose

GoodBot wants its workplace to be a healthy and safe environment, and is committed to making every effort and taking every reasonable precaution to ensure this. To achieve this, GoodBot will establish and maintain an occupational health and safety program designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.ScopeThis Policy applies to all Employees of GoodBot, which includes, but is not limited to employees, contractors and volunteers.

Policy

GoodBot is responsible for providing employees with adequate instruction in health and safety and for addressing unsafe situations in a timely and effective manner. All employee are required to work safely and to know and follow our company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.GoodBot is committed to safe and sustainable practices in all aspects of our operations and therefore will review and update our safety program on a yearly basis to adapt to industry changes, trends and requirements.GoodBot management, along with all employees and contractors are collectively responsible to ensure compliance with local government, occupational health, safety and environmental regulations.

Employer’s responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining the health and safety program

  • Providing and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment

  • Responding timely to reports and conducting investigations as needed

  • Provide employees with the information, instruction, training, and supervision necessary to protect their health and safety.

  • Provide managers with the support and training necessary to carry out their health and safety responsibilities.

  • Remedy any workplace conditions that are hazardous to worker health or safety.

  • Encourage employees to express concerns and suggest improvements on health and safety issues, for example, through safety talks or meetings

Managers’ responsibilities include:

  • Providing a health and safety orientation to new employees on or before their first day

  • Reporting any safety or health hazards

  • Correcting unsafe acts and conditions

  • Ensure that employees and contractors under their supervision are made aware of all known or reasonably foreseeable health and safety hazards where they work.

  • Investigate unsafe conditions reported to them and ensure that corrective action is taken without delay.
